Rainy Day

Last few days have been very rainy and I lost my Mojo!! Suddenly, I decided to throw together a card for the Case StudyChallenge. Here's what I came up with, I apologise for the quality of the photo, as I said it's been raining alot. I made this card in about 15 minutes- just to let you know out there you don't have to spnd hours making a card to get it looking pretty.
Sneek Peek here of a lovely New Stamp Set Every Moment, just perfect for watercolouring.
I made the DSP myself, by sponging and stamping- I like this colour combo.

I've then punched and stamped it. I used Staz On for the ink- but it's still got a softer feel. Some last minute sneek Peeks here too:

I am really loving this new punch Fancy Flower, it makes beautiful flowers and look gorgeous layered with some Dazzling Diamonds and a Diamante Brad.
Here I've made this Squash book also using Friends Never Fade Stamp Set. I'm taken with this stamp set too- and you can see I've used the Rock N Roll technique. There's also some Cottage Garden Stamps - also good for the Technique.

Vintage Wallpaper

Time for another Colour Challenge at Just Add Ink. Now I didn't read this properly yesterday, so I thought it said Rose Red- I made a gorgeous card took photos went to load it up at thought - "Oh it's Real Red I'm supposed to of used". So today I have made another card but using Real Red this time. I wanted to create a Vintage Wallpaper kind of 40's feel and I think I managed that with the help of the Damask stamp from Friends 24-7, and the peony from Asian Artistry- I love this stamp. I've used the pastels and Chocolate Chip Ink. Today's sneek peek is the flower Punch isn't this lovely?- a really easy way to make flower embellishments for cards and scrapbook pages- coming soon x

Melon Mambo is one of my favourite colours, and I'm showing you some Gorgeous new DSP from the New Catalogue which shows off beautifully one of the New Colours- Daffodil Delight. I think I'm going to love this colour and I'm not a yellow kind of girl. I'm also letting you have a peek at this new Stamp Set -Friends Never Fade which lends its self to the Rock "N" Roll Technique. Adding a bit of sparkle with Dazzling Diamonds never goes a miss.

Winter Magic

I love these hellebore flowers they just amaze me- with their colour and delicate bloom in the middle of winter, when the rest of the garden is asleep here they are- truly the winter rose.
I've done this 12 X 12 layout using the Cottage Wall DSP (19.95) only available for a couple more weeks- I've also used vintage music sheets, embossed with teh Cottage Garden Stamps. Finally I created my own hellebore from Very Vanilla Cardstock, Aqua Painters and seed beads mixed with Crystal Effects.

Art Journal
Ink Pads: Old Olive, Taken With Teal.
Markers: Taken with Teal and Stampin' Write Journaler.
Stamp Sets: Pendant Park, En Francais.

Double Challenge

Well the Just Add Ink Team are really testing us this week with a double challenge- A colour Combination but it has to be a Man card.... Well I'd normally associate these colours as feminine- so it's all good to be encouraged to try them in a different way.
Here's my card I wanted to do a landscape with a vintage postcard tinted look- So I sponged and painted the scene with my aqua painters. I'm quite happy with how it's turned out. Not sure whether a man card should have ribbon- but hey I think it adds something.

Materials:
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze.
DSP: Bella Bleu.
Stamp Set: Asian Artistry.
Other: Watercolour Paper, Linen Twine, Baja Breeze Ribbon.
Inks: Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip.
