With Sympathy
I have made this sympathy card for a friend whose Mom has just died, she lived a full and long life, and so while I wanted to make a sombre card I also wanted it be a pretty card. Using the sketch at Mojo Monday I've put this card together. I have to say I'm pleased with how it's turned out and I think it is a pretty card.
I have brayered and masked the background with Blushing Bride and Basic Grey. I'm also entering this card in at the Masking Challenge over at Jac Inks.
Colour Combo: Blushing Bride, Basic Grey, Basic Black.
Stamp Sets: Echoes of Kindness(retired), Teeny Tiny Sentiments.
Other Deatils: Organza Ribbon(hand dyed), Vellum- dry embossed for bottom edging, Pearls, Shimmer Paint and smooch added to flowers for some subtle sparklyness.

Nice and Pretty
I must confess I love these little envelopes, easy to make and lovely to make pretty. I love the blues of this one. Inside this one though instead of a tea bag there's a little brooch I've made. I wanted to acheive a cameo type of look. I've used the bird from the hostess set Silhouette Sentiments, then added Shimmer Paint and Crystal effects. I love how the Crystal Effects- lifts the shimmer paint through the varnish. It makes it look really pretty.
This could be a perfect little gift for mom x
Colour Combo: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy.
Have a Great Day.

Regional Swaps and Name Badge
There are lots of perks with being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, but one of my favs is that we get to go to Regional days where we meet up with other demos, stamp, swap and win prizes. Wellington regionals was on saturday. I thought I would show you my swaps- I made these cute little tea bag envelopes- containing guess what? yes a Tea Bag :)
The other photo is of my name badge- we were challenged to make name badges for the day - this is mine, and I'm excited to say I won!! Whoo Hoo- I get to choose a stamp set of my choice! You'll be no doubt seeing which one I chose over the next few weeks!
It was a great day all round for the Paper Divas, with our upline Wowing us with her amazing Brayering skills and fellow team mate Ali winning a stamp set. Please see the side bar for their last blog posts.
Have a great day everyone.

Hello Mr. Squirrel
My very talented upline Paula Dobson shared with us at Regional Training her brayering tips and skills- WOW. So I had to have a go- this is pretty much a CASE of one of her cards, with my own twist (ie Bling x). I love this set but don't ink it up nearly enough.
Just Add Ink have a colour challenge this week, and so I'm entering this card there.
Details:
Colour Combo; Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White, Crumb Cake.
Stamp Set; Pendant Park.

Hibiscus Coast
Once again I'm sneeking a card in at the near close of a challenge. The idea for this card has been in my head for about a week, and today I finally got chance to put ink to paper :) I'm really happy with how this card has come out- it's not often that you get an idea and it actually works out completely as you imagined.
I've taken direct inspiration from the photo over at Jac Inks Papercraft Challenges. The photo certainly brings back happy memories from my own trip to Maui.
I've layered the flowers with dimensionals to give some depth to the view.
Details:
Inks: Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Peach Parfait, So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz.
Stamps: Greenhouse Garden, Teeny Tiny Sentiments.
Other: Island Oasis DSP, Hemp Twine, Sponges, Scallop Oval.

Poppy Circles
Oh dear it seems that winter has arrived rather abruptly! It has been so cold ysterday and today, hence the darkness of my photo- I can't wait any longer for it to get brighter- I don't think it's going to happen today :(
Over at Just Add Ink this week the theme is to Just Add Danielle or Amanda- as a way of saying thatnks for all their inspiration over the last year!
I've kind of cased a card by Danielle. Had trouble with the bow though:(
Colour Combo: Poppy Parade, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla
Stamp Sets: Circle Circus, Best Yet (retired hostess)
