Royal Cupcakes

What fun I had last night with some girlfriends- we watched the Royal Wedding from start to finish :-) my daughter and I hadn't seen it, we watched the Kiwi version (thanks Mom) , in full and some Uk Highlights (thanks Dad).
I made cupcakes including these cute little Toppers- using the Scallop oval punch and small Oval and the Crown images from Extreme Elements and Artistic Etchings. Add some Dazzling Diamonds and they are done.

Amour

I think this is probably my fav stamp set at the moment- Artistic Etchings- so romantic for valentine's day. The theme at Just Add Ink this week is Just Add Love :)

I'm also enjoying collaging stamps together. It's hard to see in the photo but the rose is watercoloured then painted with shimmer paint. I've also smooched- I'm happy with how the cartons and the card have turned out.

Colour Combo: Real Red, Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Basic Grey.

Love ATC Swap

A few months ago I asked Melissa if she'd like to swap some ATC's with me- we finally got round to it :) I chose the theme of Love- just in time for Valentine's Day x
The first photo are my ATC's I sent Melissa and the second are the ones she's sent me- aren't they yummy? I love how they connect together. We are both looking forward to our next swap :)

Cafe Au Lait

Bonjour mes aime!
Following on from my last card and dreaming of drinking cafe au lait in a Paris street cafe, I've come up with this card. I wanted to use this stamp for another Gingersnap Challenge, but just couldn't quite get it to work- then I had this idea, I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out. I especially like the colours.

Colour Combo: Pink Piroutte, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip.
Stamps: Artistic Etchings, Elements of Style, Lovely as a Tree, Pun Fun.

Ventian Dreams

As some of you will know- I love creating themes for our Christmases in NZ. This year I picked Venice. Here are some photos of the christmas crackers I made. And some of the table decked out with the masks I decorated. We ate an Italian feast... and in classic Italian fashion took all afternoon and evening to eat it, finishing with tiramsu and grappa.
I've also added a little video my mom took of the table.

Dark Marie

I really enjoyed making the postcard last week for Sunday Postcard Art, this week their theme is Dark marie, I'm happy how mine's turned out- but she's not very spooky... still a bit too pretty, nevermind.
I've created the background by sponging and stamping in Concord Crush and Elegant Eggplant- The concord has more blue tones while the Eggplant has more red tones- if you were wondering the difference. Stamps used: Friends 24-7, Artistic Etchings, En Francais. I then added her Masque, some bling and finally a light coat of Mod Podge in places to give it some shine.
I hope you like her.

Tempting Organza

This weeks Just Add Ink Challenge is Just Add Material. So I thought this is a good opportunity to play! I've glued (using PVA) Turquoise Organza to White paper and let it dry. I've then punched and stamped it. I used Staz On for the ink- but it's still got a softer feel. Some last minute sneek Peeks here too:
Stamp Sets:
Artistic Etchings (new)
Curly Cute ( new)
Friends 24-7
DSP; Newsptint (new)

Let me know what you think of my Turquoise Delight.
