Anyone who knows me will know I love my Chocolate.... so I just couldn't resist this challenge over at Utah Divas: Concord Crush is rapidly becoming a new Favourite colour with me.
I've made this cute card with the Kimono Kids Set.I
ve added texture by distressing the edges of the cardstock, using Dimensionals on the fan and the Polka Dots Embossing Folder on the Chocolate Chip cardstock. There's some shimmer paint and Very Vanilla Ribbon too.

I know spring is coming (hopefully) here in NZ but over at Sunday Postcard Art Autumn Glory is the theme. Here's my first go at a postcard- what fun. I drew the girl, and then sponged and coloured with Peach parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Tangerine Tango and Poppy Parade. I also used the the leaf satmps from Lovely as a Tree. I've added embellishments by collage. I hope you like it?

Today has been a taste of summer, no coats needed today- I've made this pretty blue card for the Sketch challenge over at Just Add Ink. I've used the level 1 Hostess Stamp Set Because I care- such a pretty flower, I've masked to create a Hydrangea bush. water coloured with Baja Breeze and pear Pizzazz. Added some butterfles Stamped with the Butterfly patterns stamp set, Some texture from the embossed card. Marina Mist Satin Ribbon and Diamante Bling. There's also some shimmer paint, which just doesn't show up well on photos.
Let me know what you think, I love your comments x
Here's a cute baby card I've made using the sketch this week at Stamping 411. The bunny and baby motifs are from a retired set, but I've also used the Tiny Tags Set. I've used satin ribbon and Antique brads too. Hard to see from the photos but I've also added some Pearl Ex Powder for some subtle sparkle.
I think the Top Note cut in half looks like a pocket- hence Bunny in my Pocket x

This is my entry into this weeks Case Study Challenge, check the DT's pretty cards Here.
I'm in love with the new In Colour Pear Pizzazz, I think it's just gorgeous, especially elegant teamed here with Black and White, add some shimmer from the new Shimmer Paints, bling from diamonds and we've got a really lovely card for someone special.

This fortnights challenge atGothic Arches is Matchboxes. I've used a matchbox and instead of adding it to an arch, I've done an arch way door. I wanted to create a pretty vintage look, with the thought of boxes and doors hiding secrets and heart longings.
I've used the new NewsPaper DSP and the heart from the ever popular Always Stamp set. I've sponged with a new Colour- Concord Crush. Added flowers, tags, ribbon and bling and we are done.

This week the new Muse for September is Marianna Grigsby, she made 2 cool cards- check one out above - for the other and the Case Study DT cards click Here. I've taken inspiration from the orange, black and blue colour combo and butterflies, I've made this simple card- but I think the colours and stamps make it really effective. I've sponged the background with Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango ink and stamped with the crown from Artistic Etchings in Staz On Black. Added some butterflies, pearls and ribbon and we're done. Let me know what you think, I love getting your comments.

Finally it feels like Spring is on it's way, and the Just Add Ink Team have given us a pretty Spring Colour Combo Challenge this week, check out the Design Teams' pretty cards here.
I really enjoyed putting this pretty card together. I love this Greenhouse Gala DSP so pretty and versatile.
The Just For You Stamp co-ordinates perfectly with the new Fancy Flower Punch.

The weather here in Wellington has been very bad with torrential rain - again- but coupled this time with gale force winds of up to 140K. That combined with the devestating earthquake in Christchurch ( family members are thank goodnes ok), I'm feeling a little blue. I made this card yesterday I've patiently been waiting for better light to take a decent photo- which has not happened so here it is anyway.
I'm still really enjoying this Every Moment Stamp Set, I hope you like my blue daisies?
I've been inspired aagian by the ladies at Case Study go take a look Here
I love this challenge site and I think my cards are improving too :)
I've done some layering with the new Greenhouse Gala DSP and Vellum, and with ribbon and Bling I think it's a very femine card.
