Breezy Summer
This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is to Just Add Summer. Now for me it is a real challenge to do a simple card- I love adding heaps of bits and bobs. So I set myself the challenge of doing a real simple card. I've embossed with black a shell from Seaside (retired) on a scrap piece of Whisper White. Embossed again with black the sentiment from Grunge Rock from the current mini. I've then brayered on both pieces, using inks: So Saffron, Peach Parfait, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise. Add a little bit of distressing and Linen Thread and it's done. I think it has a real sea worn effect- I love it!

I really love the brayered background Debi, in the different shades of the same colour. Very clever and very effective. TFS
I absolutely love this. You have achieved a really 'sea-worn' look.
